Kelly (Nabors) Beck

My father, Victor Nabors, was stationed at George AFB in the early 80’s.  We lived in the George AFB Family Housing for approximately 3 years on Alabama Court. I attended the elementary school on base.  While we were stationed there, I become violently ill every year was hospitalized several times with pneumonia.  I was diagnosed with asthma while there and placed on numerous medications (which continued my whole life). I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 1996 and 1999.  I had a miscarriage for unknown reasons in 2007.  I suffer from migraines, asthma, allergies, sinus infections (frequently), arthritis, and was diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome. I am still undergoing autoimmune disease testing as well as further testing.

My father worked on the flight line.  He was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer, COPD, basal cell carcinoma and passed away in 2011 from a pulmonary embolism.

One brother has Raynaud’s disease and is undergoing further testing.  He also has other conditions.

Another brother was diagnosed with a bone cancer and later a brain tumor.  Thankfully, he’s in remission currently.

I am not a doctor, Veterans Service Officer (VSO), or attorney; therefore, I cannot provide medical or legal advice.
