My name is Suzanne Mounce-Arena – I was stationed at George AFB from 1986-1991- 35th 20th AMU weapons F-4

I lost two pregnancies [miscarriage] at the base, had to get a hysterectomy in my 20’s, ulcerative colitis, depression, hypertension, graves’ disease (autoimmune), graves ophthalmology (autoimmune), heart problems, emphysema, COPD…….plus more.

I am 46 years old, wtf !  Seemed as most broke out on 09-20-2011, I got very sick and almost every test the VA sends me to comes back positive……Just found out about GAFB…….any info would be greatly appreciated….filing for disability……..I can’t function correctly any more.

  1. I was at George AFB fro 84 -88 in the 831 SPS. I too have been diagnosed with Graves disease. No one in my family has had this disease. I have had the symptoms now for many years now. Other doctor would treat the symptoms to Graves disease like slightly high blood sugar, slightly high blood pressure but no one tested my thyroid until 2016.
