Neil Rosen

I was stationed at George AFB, CA from December 1976 to July 1981 (4 1/2 years). I have had numerous health issues since being stationed there. During my time there, I swam in the base pool, drank the water, showered in the water on base, and ate food prepared with that water in the base cow halls. I lived in the old WWII dorms until the new ones were built. At no time was I ever told the water wasn’t drinkable. And no one from any agency notified me of toxic exposure at George AFB. I am currently on dialysis for Stage 4 Renal Failure, among other issues.

I am not a doctor, Veterans Service Officer (VSO), or attorney; therefore, I cannot provide medical or legal advice.

  1. Neil, so sorry to hear about your health issues. I’ve been following articles for years about George and plan to make a trip out there. Fortunately, I have my health., but the plethora of articles and personal accounts are more than disturbing. I wish you well.
